Beachy Waves

Today it’s all about my favorite hair product ever. Bold statement, I know!

I’m talking the classic Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray. An oldie but a goodie in some people’s eyes. In my eyes, it’s everything. My hair is naturally slightly wavy. There’s definitely no cur happening, but it’s not pin-straight either. Surf Spray really takes my natural texture up, like, 500 notches. From blah to beach babe.

So how does it work? Right after I shower I towel dry and brush it out with my other holy grail hair item, the Wet Brush. I always use this on wet hair. Bumble and Bumble says you can use it on dry hair as well, but it just doesn’t give me the same results. I go right in with the Surf Spray, spritzing like a psycho on the entire bottom half of my hair. I kind of avoid my scalp, but not really. That’s what so great about this. It’s not supposed to be perfect. Scrunch your hair, flip it upside down, do whatever you have to do. I like to let it air dry and walk out the door looking like I just finished up my morning surf lessons. I’m obsessed. So obsessed that I have two backups and one mini for travel just in case.

Available at Sephora, Blue Mercury, most department stores, and Bumble and Bumble for $15 for 1.7 oz and $26 for 4 oz.

I’m also eyeing the new Bumble and Bumble City Swept Finishing Spray that I spotted at Blue Mercury. It looks like it would be perfect right after Surf Spray. Swoon.

  • I’ve heard such amazing things about this product, I really must give it a go. It must be good seeing as you have so many back ups! x
